Rep. Anna V. Eskamani’s Campaign for Orlando Mayor Announces Historic Levels of Grassroots Support with Over 3,700 Donations and a $425,000 Fundraising Haul
Orlando, FL – In a continued surge of grassroots momentum, State Representative Dr. Anna V. Eskamani announced today that her campaign for Mayor of Orlando has raised an astounding $425,555 from 3,774 donations and 3,336 donors—a testament to the people-powered movement fueling her vision for the City Beautiful.
“Our campaign is powered by the people of Orlando—working families, small business owners, educators, students, and retirees—who believe in a future where our city works for everyone,” said Eskamani. “Raising more than $400,000 from over 3,700 contributions is a remarkable show of support, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has invested in our movement. This is what grassroots leadership looks like.”
The record-breaking fundraising total underscores the growing enthusiasm for Eskamani’s candidacy, with thousands of people stepping up to support her bold vision for affordable housing, public transportation, sustainability, and economic opportunity. The campaign has continued to receive an overwhelming majority of grassroots donations, reinforcing Eskamani’s deep connection to the needs of everyday people. Her kickoff, hosted at the Historic Beacham in Downtown Orlando, saw more than 650 people in attendance.
With over two years before Election Day, the momentum behind Eskamani’s campaign shows no signs of slowing down. She has already earned endorsements from key Central Florida leaders, including Congressman Maxwell Frost, State Senator Carlos Guillermo Smith, State Representatives Johanna López, LaVon Bracy Davis, and Rita Harris, County Commissioners Dr. Kelly Semrad and Nicole Wilson, State Attorney Monique Worrell, Public Defender Melissa Vickers, Property Appraiser Amy Mercado, Tax Collector Scott Randolph, and School Board Member Stephanie Vanos. Eskamani just wrapped up a successful and historic campaign kickoff at The Beacham in Downtown Orlando last month and has announced a canvass kickoff for March 29th.
“This campaign is about building an Orlando that is affordable, inclusive, and full of opportunity,” added Eskamani. “Every contribution—big or small—fuels our mission to create real change. Thank you to every single donor who believes in this vision. Together, we’re going to win.”
Now that Representative Eskamani is in Legislative Session, she will be in a fundraising freeze and focused on fighting for her constituents and delivering results for her community.
