Orlando, FL – Today, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 606 announced their unanimous endorsement of Anna V. Eskamani’s bid for Mayor of Orlando in 2027. This marks the first organizational endorsement of Eskamani’s campaign, highlighting her steadfast commitment to working families and her proven track record of advocacy in the Florida State Legislature.

In a letter issued to Eskamani, IBEW Local 606 expressed their support, stating:

“It is my honor to inform you that IBEW Local 606 and its membership give you our endorsement and 100% backing in your bid for the seat of Mayor of Orlando. Your dedication and service to the residents of Orlando is inspiring. You always have the best interests in mind when you are in Tallahassee fighting to protect the working families of your district. I know that you will continue the same fight as Mayor of Orlando to move the city into the future.”

Eskamani responded to the endorsement with gratitude, saying:

"I am incredibly humbled and honored to have the trust and support of IBEW Local 606. For years, I have worked alongside our electrical workers to advocate for fair wages, good jobs, and opportunities that move Orlando forward. Their unanimous endorsement energizes our campaign, and I am ready to bring that same commitment to Orlando City Hall as Mayor."
